Suez Canal Authority Extends Key Rebates for 2025 Transits!

These renewed circulars, valid until December 31, 2025 (with the last permissible sailing date from the origin port also being December 31, 2025), cover a wide range of vessels and routes.

Key Renewals Include:

  • Dry Bulk Vessels: Continued rebates for laden or ballast dry bulk carriers operating on key routes like Australia to North West Europe, Americas' Eastern ports to Asian ports, Mauritania & West Africa to Arabian Gulf/India/Far East, and Egyptian Red Sea ports to South-West Africa.
  • LNG Carriers: Extended rebates for direct voyages of LNG tankers between the East Coast of the Americas/US Gulf and Asian ports, specifically from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
  • Oil Tankers (Crude Oil): Renewed incentives for ballast or crude oil laden tankers operating directly between the US Gulf/Caribbean/Latin America and Asian ports.
  • LPG Carriers: Rebates continue for laden or ballast Liquefied Petroleum Gas carriers on direct voyages between the East Coast of the Americas/US Gulf and India & its Eastern ports.
  • Petroleum Products Tankers: Extended rebates for laden "Petroleum Products" tankers on direct voyages between the US Gulf/Caribbean/Latin America and Asian ports.
  • Chemical & Other Liquid Bulk Tankers: Continued savings for laden or ballast "Chemical & Other Liquid Bulk" tankers operating directly between the American Gulf (including Miami and southern ports) and India & its Eastern ports.
  • Containerships: Rebates extended for laden or ballast containerships on direct voyages from the East Coast of the Americas/US Gulf to South and South East Asia, and from North-West Europe (including Tangier/Algeciras) to Port Klang and its Eastern/South-East Asian/Far East ports.
