Suez Canal Authority Extends 15% Rebate for Containerships!

The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has renewed Circular No. (3/2025), which concerns containerships transiting the Suez Canal. This circular, originally issued on May 13, 2025, grants a 15% rebate to containerships.

The rebate applies to both laden and ballast containerships with a Suez Canal Net Tonnage of 130,000 tons or more, transiting either northbound or southbound.

The renewal extends the circular's validity until December 31, 2025. The last date to transit the Suez Canal and be eligible for this rebate is December 31, 2025.
