DFDS Establishes First Freight Ferry Service in Egypt via Pan Marine!
DFDS, in a historic move for Egypt's maritime shipping sector, is partnering with Pan Marine to launch the first-ever Freight Ferry shipping line that connect Egypt with Europe. This new route, officially commencing in November 2024, will link the Italian port of Trieste with Damietta, Egypt.
The service promises to transform the transportation of all type of goods including critical or time-sensitive cargo, between Egypt and Europe, the UK and Scandinavian countries via Trieste. With the capacity to accommodate up to 420 mega trailers weekly, for both inbound and outbound shipments, we’re ensuring efficient and high-volume movement of cargo.
