Responsibilities
- Updating vendor and subcontractor databases and adding new vendors to the company's approved list.
- Negotiating deals with vendors to secure cost reductions and optimize expenses.
- Coordinating and monitoring daily shipments, ensuring smooth distribution processes with vendors.
- Overseeing all shipment operations and resolving issues related to ports, customs, or client sites, particularly concerning transportation and trucking.
- Preparing and analyzing trucking reports on a daily, monthly, and annual basis, including updates and follow-ups.
- Managing special projects such as OOG, lost cargo shipments, ensuring safety compliance, selecting appropriate truck types, and overseeing loading processes at ports or client sites.
- Recording and tracking truck activities using the ODOO system.
- Managing trucking pricing, including preparing quarterly rate sheets for all served ports.
- Identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions for trucking and transportation to exceed customer expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Min. 5-year experience in related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and relationships management skills.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
