ESL is seeking a skilled Liner Accountant to manage financial operations and contribute to the success of our maritime services

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit the weekly Statement of Account (SOA) to ESL HQ.
  • Check, confirm, and report on the weekly agents’ performance, conduct Cross-check against local collections to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify and report weekly demurrage and detention charges, conduct cross-checks with local collections to maintain consistency.
  • Review and confirm vendor invoices, including charges for stevedoring, storage, and repairs.
  • Check, confirm, and report port terminal charges for ESL-owned vessels, Include detailed reporting on charges such as berthing dues, pilotage, port dues, port clearance, tug moves, and mooring/unmooring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Careful attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Strong Communication and Analytical Skills
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency
